Technical specifications

The AyeAye® boat computer is an industrially designed ARM based, open-source compatible computer for leisure sailing vessels. The boating device integrates more than 20 traditional maritime products and features in an all-in-one hardware and software solution. The AyeAye® boat computer includes internal and external navigational and environmental sensors, GPS, autopilot, AIS, digital switching as well as 4G LTE internet. The product is expandable by connecting existing instruments of various brands and can be accessed from wherever you are, from any device.

Robust and durable casing

  • Splash, water, & dust resistant: Waterproof IP6x is protected against normal boating conditions
  • Vibration & shock proof: The casing protects the internal workings against vibration coming from an engine or shocks from heavier weather or waves
  • Cool & quiet: Passively cooled electronics with no active moving parts keep the system cool and quiet. An internal anodized aluminum heatsink and the casing itself absorb all excess heat.
  • Material: Aluminium
  • Dimensions: 340x130x210 mm

Power

External temperature sensors

We provide one (expandable to three) external DS18B20 weather proof temperature sensor for monitoring exhaust temperature, refrigerator or any other source you’d like to monitor.

  • Stainless steel tube 6 mm diameter by 30 mm long
  • Cable is 36″ long / 91 cm, 4 mm diameter
  • Contains DS18B20-compatible temperature sensor
  • If your sensor has four wires – red connects to 3-5V, black connects to ground and white is data. The copper wire is soldered to the wire shielding
  • If your sensor has three wires – red connects to 3-5V, blue/black connects to ground and yellow/white is data
