Plot your boat adventures all over the world with the easy to use navigation software.
Navigation software
Software
Among all the available free and paid apps, the AyeAye® boating app is unique on the market. Not only due to its powerful connection to the AyeAye® boat computer with all the data available in one system, but also its usability. The modern design has simplicity and intuitiveness in mind, because we think you rather want to navigate your boat, rather than struggle with an app.
Offline charts
Navigating is made easy with pre-installed nautical charts for most regions of the world. The OpenSeaMap charts, which you can conveniently use via the AyeAye® app to plan your trips and navigate while underway, are regularly updated by the community. We support open source because we believe that maps should be universally available to everyone, free of charge. You can download map updates on the go via the AyeAye’s 4G internet, but of course also in any port with a WiFi hotspot.
Layers
Nautical charts are like cakes, it’s all about the layers! Adding another layer like Google Satellite, Bing or Esri on top of your base chart can give valuable insights into the surrounding area. Through various satellite images that you can apply in the AyeAye® app, you’ll be up to date on the latest obstacles, reefs or other characteristics of the specific area.
Plotter
When navigating your vessel, you need information you can rely on. The sensor data that the AyeAye® collects is displayed graphically in the app. This includes information about the direction of travel, speed, other vessels around you and much more. The navigation chart is interactive and you can add new waypoints or adjust the display to your needs with just a few clicks.
Routing
Routing your journey on the water is sometimes more challenging than it would be on land. Fortunately, adding waypoints and drawing routes with the AyeAye® app is simple and hassle-free.
Use case 1: Busy waters with lots of traffic
If you are travelling on busy waters with lots of traffic, a good and clear overview of your position and surroundings is essential. This includes buoys, other ships, the weather and more. We believe that a graphical user interface, that is perfectly balanced between minimalistic and complete, gives you the best boating experience even in more difficult waters.
Use case 2: Longer trips and dealing with weather
If you are going on longer journeys, you want to plan ahead. The current weather may have already changed by the time you arrive at your next waypoint. With an overlay over your standard plotter, you always have important weather information at hand.
